No! All our fur is ethically sourced from Peru and certified by PROMPERU, an agency of the Ministry of Foregin Trade and Tourism of Peru.

As a public entity, it works closely with exporters to promote Peruvian exports of goods and services encouraging their entry to the global market place. One of the prioritized sectors is the alpaca apparel industry. We believe it is importanat to point out that Peruvian Suri and Huacaya baby alpaca furs come from domestic animals who are not harmed by their herdsmen during the process.

Dry Clean Only. Preferably by a leather specialist. All real fur has leather. So we suggest never to use a washer/dryer since it will stiffen the leather.
